LIFE IN COLOUR
COACHING

Niamh drawn logo.png

I can’t keep doing this.

Something’s gotta G.I.V.E.!

You're not a bad parent.

You're out of capacity, and no one showed you what to do about that.

Something's gotta G.I.V.E. is a six week program for parents who are done white knuckling their way through the day. It helps you understand your capacity and your child's, work out what's really getting in the way, and build a plan that holds up for your whole family.

A collaboration between Life in Colour Coaching and OT Done Differently.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF...

  • Your mornings feel like chaos before you've even left the house

  • You keep asking calmly, then not so calmly, and nothing changes

  • You and your partner can't agree on how to handle the same problem

  • You're doing everything you think you're supposed to, and it still isn't working

  • You've got more than one child, and feel like you're being pulled in every direction at once

  • You love your kids fiercely, and still have no idea what to do next

Starts Saturday 26 September!

G - Get real

Understand yours and your child's real capacity.
Learn what is eroding both yours and your child's capacity.

I - Identify

Name the barrier. What's actually getting in the way of things running smoothly right now, for you and / or for your child/ren?

V - Visualise

Map out a new plan to address the barrier. Picture what it looks like in practice, so the plan is clear and predictable before you try it.

E - Execute & Evaluate

Put the plan into action. Revisit G.I.V. to evaluate.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH

  • A clear read of your own capacity and your child's, not just a sense that everything is too much

  • A plan built around what's really getting in the way for your family, not a generic parenting strategy

  • Practical, predictable routines that work across your whole family, not just one child

  • Tools to fall back on when a plan stops working, so you're not starting again from scratch each time

  • A community of parents who actually get what you're navigating

"I don't do this work from a distance - I live it."

IMG_2872.jpeg

I'm a late-diagnosed AuDHD woman, a mum to three neurodivergent children, and part of a proudly neurodivergent family. This photo above was taken a long time ago - but I remember it all too well.  I'm going to be honest - it was HARD! It's still HARD. I love my kids more than anything in the world, but parenting is a tough gig, and you can't 'effort' your way through it!

I've spent my career learning about neurodivergent brains, and I still walked away from parenting courses feeling ashamed. I should have known this. I should have done better.
I refuse to carry that shame any longer, and I don't want you carrying it either.

We created the G.I.V.E. Method because because we kept seeing the same thing. Parents doing everything they could think of, and still feeling like they were failing. What they needed wasn't another course telling them to try harder. They needed a framework built around real capacity, for their whole family, not just one child.

Lived experience

Late-diagnosed AuDHD. Mum to three neurodivergent young people. This work comes from the inside, not a textbook.

image.png

Professional depth

BEd, MEd Autism, postgrad counselling, and 25+ years supporting neurodivergent people in real-world contexts.

Practical focus

Coaching is about the here and now - clarity, direction, and real, tangible action. Not unpacking the past.

Neurodiversity affirming

It's not about changing who you are. It's about understanding your brain and building a life that works with it.

I did the D.O.N.E. Method with Sally and I loved how she developed a predictable and objective way to work through situations. It was concrete and simple and supported me to reach a solution more easily.

I did the D.O.N.E. Method with Sally and she helped me untangle my mind, reduce my feelings of shame and understand and accept my own capacity

Sally helped me understand why some days were harder than others, and let go of the belief that I was a bad mum. I’m now rebuilding strategies that

actually work for me, and it’s made me feel like I'm a good mum again

QUESTIONS

I'm already overwhelmed - will I actually be able to do this?

Yes - and that's exactly who this is designed for. The program is built to be low demand. You don't need to be "functioning well" to start. You just need to show up as you are.

Do my child need a formal diagnosis to join?

No. This program is for any family, whether your child has a diagnosis, is on a waitlist, or you simply recognise your family in the description.

I have more than one child. Will this actually work for us?

Yes. This program is built for real families, including families with multiple children. It doesn't assume you can split yourself in ten directions at once, and the strategies are designed to work across your whole household, not just for one child.

What if I miss a live session?

Sessions are a live call on WhatsApp, but will be documented in the WhatsApp group chat. You can ask a question, post a comment or response through text or voice message. You won't miss out if life gets in the way - which, given who this is for, it sometimes will.

Will I need to have my camera on?

No. The live session is delivered through WhatsApp, via text or audio message.

How much time does it take each week?

The pre-recorded content is designed to be short and digestible. The live session is open for 2 hours. You join for as long or as little as you like. Beyond that, the work is about noticing and small shifts - not adding more to your to-do list.

Spots are limited to 10 families.  Waitlist members get first access and the founder price - which closes when this cohort fills.
