LIFE IN COLOUR
COACHING

Hi! I'm Sally

Founder & Director

I am an AuDHD (autistic & ADHD) coach, consultant, educator, and public speaker with a Bachelor of Education - Special Education (BEd), Master of Education - Autism (MEd), and postgraduate qualifications in guidance and counselling.

With more than 25 years’ experience, I provide neuro‑diversity affirming training for organisations alongside individual coaching for neurodivergent women and parent coaching for families.

My approach is practical, evidence‑informed, and grounded in lived experience.

Lived experience meets professional expertise

I’m a late‑diagnosed AuDHD professional woman, a mum to three neurodivergent children, and part of a proudly neurodivergent family. When I finally understood my own brain, everything shifted. Life didn’t suddenly become easy — it simply started to make sense.

That shift from “What’s wrong with me?” to “Oh… that makes sense” brought relief, self‑compassion, and pride. I see that same shift in the women, parents, and organisations I work with — and it’s powerful.

My work is grounded in both lived experience and more than 25 years of professional

practice.

My approach is evidence‑informed, practical, and shaped by decades of supporting individuals, families, and teams to understand neurodivergence in real‑world contexts.

My personal and professional worlds are deeply connected.

I don’t do this work from a distance — I live it. I understand what it’s like to move through the world feeling misunderstood, unsupported, or unsure how to explain why things feel hard — whether that’s at home, at work, or within a family.

It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about working with someone who understands neurodivergence and can help you figure out what you need to live, work, and parent in a way that feels right for you.

That’s what I love about coaching. It’s focused on the here and now — understanding where you are, where you want to be, and the practical steps that will help you get there. It’s not about unpacking the past. It’s about clarity, direction, and real, tangible action.

"I wasn't a failed neurotypical person; I was a perfectly good

autistic person."

Professor Jac Den Houting, 2019

I remember when I first heard this. It hit me HARD.

For many years, in many ways, I felt like a broken human.

But now I strongly believe…scrap that - I KNOW - We are who we are. We’re not broken.

What matters here

I’m not in your exact shoes, but I genuinely understand this world,

and I’m not here to tell you what to do.

Psychological safe space:

Calm, steady, and accessible — shaped with neurodivergent nervous systems in mind, whether we’re working one‑on‑one, with parents, or inside organisations.

Unconditional Positive Regard:

You’re met with respect and care, no matter your role or situation. I support you without judgement, assumptions, or “shoulds.”

Authenticity:

I show up as a real human, and you get to do the same. No performance. No pressure. Just honest conversations and practical support.

Neurodiversity-affirming practice:

No fixing, no pathologising. Your brain, your pace, and your lived experience guide the work — for individuals, parents, and organisations alike.

Congruency:

What I say, what I do, and what I believe match. You get guidance that’s steady, transparent, and grounded — whether we’re talking about your life, your family, or your workplace.

Accountability:

I take responsibility for the space I create and the impact of my work. I support you — or your team — to hold boundaries, make decisions, and move forward with clarity.

I use identity‑first language (e.g., autistic person).

If you prefer something different, I’ll follow your lead.
